Since opening in September 2024, this shop has quickly gained a reputation for its delicious tarts.
The owner honed their skills through two years of training in France and further experience at shops in Fukuoka before opening this establishment. 😌
True to the name “Frais” (meaning “fresh”), the tarts are handmade daily in the shop’s own atelier. Every ingredient is carefully selected—from domestic wheat and high-quality Hokkaido butter to perfectly ripe fruit sourced from a contracted greengrocer.
This time, I enjoyed the Strawberry & Tiramisu marriage tart, the Grape & Shine Muscat tart, the Saint-Honoré, and the Peach tart.
The Strawberry & Tiramisu tart features a perfect pairing of strawberries and a not-too-sweet tiramisu, all brought together beautifully by the tart crust ‼️
The Saint-Honoré offers a wonderfully balanced flavor, combining bitter caramel cream and mini cream puffs atop the tart crust 😋
Everything is truly delicious 😆
