Let me introduce a popular local Chinese eatery in Fukuoka.
It is called “Fukken,” located at 3-1-16 Wakahisa, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.

This is a popular neighborhood Chinese spot that has been loved by the local community for over 50 years.
The interior features just seven counter seats, arranged in a unique layout where you sit with your back to the kitchen.
The menu includes noodle dishes like Champon and Sara Udon, as well as favorites such as Happosai (stir-fried mixed vegetables and meat), Sweet and Sour Pork, and Shrimp in Chili Sauce.
This time, I tried the popular “Uchidome-men” 🍜. It features thick noodles fried until crispy, generously topped with a superb, special thick sauce 😃. The sauce is packed with meat, shrimp, and a variety of vegetables, while a hint of garlic ties all the flavors together beautifully ‼️ It’s easy to see why this dish is so popular 😃. Other items like Champon and Sara Udon also seem to be favorites among customers, so I’d love to try those next time, too ‼️ I highly recommend this dish—a flavor that has been loved for years 😌.
