I’d like to introduce a souvenir I discovered at the Kiyama Parking Area (outbound) on the expressway.
It is Yamaya’s “Soratobu Air-Mentai” (Flying Air-Mentai), available at the Kiyama Parking Area (outbound) located at 1318 Harada, Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture!

I came across this product when I stopped at the Kiyama Parking Area (outbound) on the Kyushu Expressway in September 2026.
It was developed by Yamaya, a Fukuoka-based *mentai* (spicy cod roe) manufacturer, as a snack that allows you to fully enjoy the delicious flavor of *mentai*.
“Soratobu Air-Mentai” offers a wonderfully light and airy texture that melts gently in your mouth. The flavors of shrimp and spicy cod roe (mentaiko) blend beautifully, accented by a delightful kick of spiciness—a truly perfect combination!
It’s an addictive treat! 😍
Since they come in individually portioned bags, they are convenient to give as souvenirs.
I highly recommend this as a souvenir from Fukuoka! ‼️
