Let me introduce you to a souvenir shop in Fukuoka.
Located on the 1st floor of JR Hakata Station, in Hakata Ekinaka Maing, is “Hakattarashi”!!

This shop is a new brand opened by the thriving Tsukumoshima Group Co., Ltd., which boasts a wide range of brands.
The lineup includes mitarashi manju (steamed buns with sweet soy sauce glaze), mitarashi madeleines, mitarashi daifuku (rice cakes filled with sweet soy sauce glaze), and mitarashi cheesecake.
This time, I tried the mitarashi manju!!
Mitarashi Manju is a new kind of steamed bun with a chewy dough filled with three layers of mitarashi bean paste, offering a rich and flavorful taste!
It has a familiar taste from the past, yet it feels somehow new, making it a great souvenir!
The mitarashi cheesecake is available in limited quantities, so I’d like to try that next time too!
I highly recommend it as a new souvenir from Hakata Station!
