We’d like to introduce you to a Western restaurant that has been beloved in Fukuoka for many years! 😃
Restaurant Tatsu is located on the basement floor of the HIWAKA Building, 3-16-1 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

This Western restaurant has been a local favorite since it opened in 1965. 😊
This restaurant serves their legendary beef stew, which takes a month to prepare. Carefully selected meat is left to mature, then slowly simmered with vegetables and strained repeatedly for a dish that requires a lot of time and love.
If it sells out, you can only enjoy it for another month. 😅
This month’s lunch was “White Fish Meunière with Vegetable Sauce and Braised Hamburger Steak with Tomato Sauce”! ️
Each dish was meticulously and delicately prepared, and you could really feel the skill behind it! ️
The carefully grilled meunière had a refreshing finish and a very refined flavor. 😊
The braised hamburger steak had a familiar feel, but the elaborate flavor really showed the skill behind it. ^_^😊
Both were simple yet truly delicious! ️
The accompanying vegetables were refreshing, and the overall balance was well thought out. 😊
Next time, I’d definitely like to try the beef stew! ️
