Here is a souvenir I discovered at the Kiyama Parking Area (outbound) on the expressway.
It is called “Mizutama Purun” (Water Drop Jelly) made with Ouma Natural Water, available at the Kiyama Parking Area (outbound) located at 1318 Harada, Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
I came across this product when I stopped at the Kiyama Parking Area (outbound) on the Kyushu Expressway in September 2026.
The company behind it sources natural water from Ouma in the Kokuraminami Ward of Kitakyushu City and sells water dispensers. Wanting to create a new product that showcased their water, they conceived “Mizutama Purun” with the idea of allowing people to take Ouma’s water home as a souvenir.
“Mizutama Purun” is a transparent, water-drop-like treat made from Ouma natural water. When you pop the water balloon casing, a perfectly round, jiggly “water drop” pops out. It features a unique, bouncy texture—distinct from mochi, jelly, or pudding.
This product is designed to let you enjoy the pure taste of water itself; when paired with *kinako* (roasted soybean flour) and *kuromitsu* (black sugar syrup), the subtle sweetness and simple, gentle flavor are truly delicious. 😌
It’s a must-try for anyone who loves a delightfully jiggly, bouncy texture! ‼️
