This is a Western confectionery shop that represents Fukuoka that has been fascinated by Fukuoka residents since 1995 😊
Chef Otsuka trained in French confectionery at a shop called “Jacques” in the Alsace region of France from 1988. When he reported his independence to Mr. Vannewald of Alsace, he was told to use the store name Jacques, so the store name became Patisserie Jacques 😊
In 2005, after passing a recommendation and examination, he became a member of Relais Desserts, an organization of French pastry chefs and chocolatiers. Even now, there are only a few Japanese members!! ️
Jacques’ sweets are all really delicious and beautiful!! ️
This time, we tried the cakes “Jacques, Pista Intense, Prince, and Gâteau Chantilly”!! ️
“Jacques,” which is also the store’s name, is a pear bavarois sandwiched between caramel mousse, and the beautiful cross-section and harmonious taste have made it the most popular and long-loved cake!! ️
Chef Otsuka was fascinated by Jacques de France and this cake is so delicious 😊
