Let me introduce a popular spot in Fukuoka!
It’s called “Hakozaki Botan,” located at 1-45-18 Hakozaki, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City. 😃

This is a popular Japanese-style sweets shop situated right by the approach to Hakozaki Shrine.
The shop has a charming, atmospheric exterior, and once inside, you’ll find a tempting selection of items like “Botan-yaki” (a type of grilled confection) and soft-serve ice cream.
On this visit, I tried the Botan-yaki with three different fillings: *tsubu-an* (chunky sweet red bean paste), *shiro-an* (smooth white bean paste), and *beni-aruka-an* (a sweet potato-based filling).
