This recipe, said to have been invented by the Imperial Hotel’s head chef, was created in 1936 at the request of opera singer Feodor Chaliapin, and has been passed down ever since. It’s a traditional Japanese flavor that’s been passed down ever since.
This time, we chose a small Chaliapin steak made from domestic pork loin. 😃
