Fukusaya, famous for the Nagasaki confectionery Castella, is proposing “Handmade Monaka” as a new souvenir😊
The skin of the monaka, made from carefully selected sticky rice, has a very soft and crisp texture, and the bean paste, made from slowly cooked azuki beans from Hokkaido, has a strong sweetness and azuki flavor. When you stuff it and eat it together, the elegant taste spreads out and it’s very luxurious! ️
